[Need Info] Duplicate file finder

I could use an app that would find duplicate items, mostly pictures on a computer. I don't want one that automatically deletes the duplicates, I just want a list that I can delete manually from.

Most say they clean. I'll clean, you give me the list.

Free would be nice, but will pay.

I'll start you off with this free one by Auslogics:

Another free one called "Duplicate Files Finder":
»doubles.sourceforge.net/

And the one I used to use, 'doublekiller' but the free version is now limited:

My personal favorite too. There are now both pay and free versions. The free version will do what you want.

The two best are (Digital Volcano) Duplicate Cleaner (I prefer the Free version & perhaps even one of the older versions at that) & AllDup.

Tried it - it mostly worked. I think I need one that does photos.
Thanks

No problem.
Just so you know, this is exactly what I use it for... pictures.

There are "true" duplicates, which programs as mentioned will find with ease, & then there are "similar" duplicates, which more specific programs exist for things like photo's & music, where files are not exactly the same, but (theoretically) similar enough to be marked as "dups".

I'd need the paid version. I have pictures in RAW, PSD, and jpg. Since I never renamed the CR2 photos, I have to hunt through ever last damn one of them. Since they are digital negatives, I usually just save them all, and only rename the pics I actually use.

You can trial the pay version to make sure it will do what you'll need.

I'll just spit out some "phrases": awesome_photo_finder, duplicate_photo_finder, image_deduplicator, ImgSearch, sif (Similar Images Finder), SimilarImages.
