| AT&T Wireless: Are they high? I was curious about their GoPhone plans and could not help to laugh at their pricing.
GoPhone pricing
Are they seriously offering a $50 wifi-only "unlimited" plan? And a $60 "unlimited" plan that only comes with 2GB of data?!? |

| No worse than Verizon's... Same $60 plan has 2GB. $70 plan has 4GB.

Actually, that $60 plan is considered to be a fairly good deal. At&t postpaid charges $69 just for unlimited talk. Data and texting is an additional charge. Data for 200mb is $20. 3gb is $30. Unlimited text messaging is $20. Don't forget to add tax to determine your final monthly price.
With the GoPhone deal, there is no tax. Sometimes there are even a small discount from sites that sells refills. Plus, GoPhone here includes LTE speeds which At&t does not give to its mvno's. Furthermore, the mvno's are usually restricted to 1gb of data. There is Straight Talk, but that is slower with people also complaining about data restrictions.
If you think this At&t prepaid plan is so bad, then feel free to post a much better plan. Naturally, you will be comparing oranges to oranges and not oranges to artificial flavored drinks. |
