Utilizing the most recent firmware has anyone tried the SIP-ALG for VoIP? Does it break your VoIP calls?
Nope I have not tried it ... looking for YOU to be the Guinea pig

I used to run FreeSWITCH
PBX behind USG 200 with 3.x firmware with SIP_ALG on and things were working fine for the most part. I did not bother to troubleshoot occasional hickups.
Today I'm only running SPA112 ATA behind USG which is registering to PBXes
PBX with SIP_ALG off and things are working fine too.
The USG built-in help has some useful info on the SIP_ALG implementation.

SIP ALG works fine if your SIP UA does not try to do any NAT traversing on its on. If it does, you basically get to ALG's working on the same data.
IF your UA have any NAT traversal features and you have those enabled, turn the ZyWALL ALG off.
