Warrior and Lock the only ones that stand out, the rest looks like a bland mess.

the warlock actually looks like it came from Oz.

Can't say I'm thrilled about any of them... the warrior is the best of the lot in my opinion. But OMG... how horrible are the paladin and rogue sets!

I agree that the warrior and warlock are the ones that stand out but for me it's not necessarily a good thing. I think they are a bit too freaky-deak. I prefer the simpler sets, like the Priest. I like the simple cowl that is hiding half the face. Could do with some toned down shoulders though.

Play a Goblin and you can be the wicked witch of the west!

"I'll get you my pretty! AND YOUR LITTLE PET TOO!"

Regarding the warrior set: I just CANNOT get on board with asymetrical shoulders! I don't know why. Just a personal preference.

God these sets are so bland, none of them speak to the class except the Lock set. It literally looks like a bunch of robes that are recolors....and rogue/pally/hunter look interchangable.

Looking back on previous seasons prior to MoP, it is sad. People go back and get those old sets to tmogg....you really think anyone will be going back to get any of this shit?

I agree that they fall flat. Imo, most all tier/season sets have. They are just trying to hard and it is resulting in major fails. Priests should almost always be in robes/cowls with maybe some interesting enhancment like angel wings (black for spriests), halos, glowing holy power, etc. Shamans should always be in animal skins and bones. If they would just stay with more traditionalist styles rather than some grotesque futuristic concepts, they'd be much cooler. (again my opinion)

That's also why I liked Cat's idea of getting faction sets upon becoming exalted with factions. I think they could make some really cool faction replica sets that would blow these sets away.

Devs are assuming that many will reskin anyways so they spend about 27 minutes at the design table for each class. I personally would go with themes.

Death Knight - Gothic viking raider
Druid - Hippie with sandels and a headband
Huner - something along the lines of redneck and duck dynasty
Mage - David copperfield and Houndini
Monk - Power Rangers
Pally - Jomes Bond (Connery of course)
Priest - either a set that looks like the pope or one that looks like Jesus
Rogue - Vampire
Shaman - Native American with eagle headdress and a bucket of casino chips
Warlock - Ex-girlfriend (sucks your soul right out of you)
Warrior - Football jersey, blue jeans, tennis shoes and one of those helmets with a beer can on each side.

I could really go for those themes when collecting appropriate teir gear. If the player does not like it they can Tmog.

How do you know what the mage set looks like? It's not in the thread.

Thanks for posting these. I'm actually kinda happy with the Priest set. Doesn't look too "overdone"

Ah, thats what I was leaning to assume. Now I am in the mood to watch it when I get home. Dailies with Walter in the back ground. "Welcome to the Temple of the Jade Serpent. Now get your shit and get out!"

Ah nvm. Tried the druid out again last night. Not my cup of tea. I can only heal or tank on my druid, neither of which roles I want to do right now.

After having watched the video of the set... I must say that the glow effects for that set are pretty awesome.

edit: actually, they all look a great deal better live. On the monk set... the teal dragons on the shoulders aren't just "unfinished rendering", they are an animation for the set... there's another jade dragon animation that appears on the front and back of the helm, like a large dragon's maw.
