I just checked my modem and I have 8 downstream and two upstream channels the upstream light on front of modem is now blue from previous green color.
Speedtest just now showed 18 downstream and 4.97 upstream speed. Always nice to see updates!

Whoa, guess you are the first with 3. I rebooted this morning in Fairfield, CT and all bonded up 2 channels here (after seeing Stratford and Norwalk getting theirs, Stratford I think should be on the same headend so figured it's worth a shot).

Guess it would make sence to bond more because with enough people pushing 5Mbps and 25Mbps, that could almost saturate a 50Mbps upstream (2 x 27Mbps channels = 54Mbps - a little buffer). 3 x 27 will give it a bit more room

2 bonded channels here in medford,NY on long island.

22.5mhz and 32mhz channels for upstream. I am on the 15/5 package.

PS I also got the upstream speed increase also.

That 3rd upstream channel must be an area specific one because its not even a docsis 2 channel.

What sort of plan are you on? Normal, Boost, Boost+, or Ultra?

I am in Rockland County NY and feed from the Mahwah NJ head-end. My channels are U1=26 and U4=19 (I have not tried rebooting again to see if I now have a 3rd Upload Channel). It looks like the frequencies assigned also vary by area/head-end. I am Boost+ if that matters.

It would make sense that people with Ultra would have 3 bonded upload channels. I don't think Normal, Boost, Boost+ will see those. Not like it matters really, as long as the upload speed increase is stable for all.

I know nothing about DOCSIS, but I would assume that's incorrect. Hence the reason why all tiers get 8 DS channels. All tiers would also get upstream channel bonding just because it's the nature of the beast. All tiers get all available US/DS channels because if something is stepping on the frequency it has the other frequencies to use.

Edit: Our upload and download are just capped via a config file, but it should continue to use all channels that are available.

That 3rd channel looks like its only for that area. it is only a docsis 1 channel vs the other 2 which are docsis 2.

Nothing yet in my little town. Then again we folks in Monmouth and Ocean counties are usually at or near the bottom of CV's roll out barrel.
