[IPv6] comcast6.net CMTS IPv6 status feature added.

I said it was coming and now here it is.. If you goto »www.comcast6.net check out the top left corner of the screen. Just under "Your IP Address" it will say something like this:
"Congrats! You are using IPv6 on the Comcast Cable network."
"Your CMTS is ready for IPv6"
"Your CMTS is not ready for IPv6"
"You need to be on the Comcast network"

If you have issue with the site please feel free to post here or PM me.

Same deal. "You need to be on the Comcast Cable network to check for IPv6 Status."

I'm definitely connected to my cable modem on Comcast's network.

Thanks for your work on this.

It makes it much easier to find out if you've moved up the road from Salem/Eugene to Portland now.

Weirdest thing, it says - "Your Cisco CMTS desperately wants to be upgraded and configured for IPv6 support but it seems the upgrade work order has been lost.".

Okay, maybe not - but mine also does state "You need to be on the Comcast Cable network to check for IPv6 Status.". I'll PM the source IP.

Your IP address is 2001:559:800c:1005:b41f:4ac3:f914:f553
You need to be on the Comcast Cable network. Please shut down your v6 tunnel.
- See more at: http://www.comcast6.net/#sthash.RFFvMsCX.dpuf

Should probably add all of 2001:558::/29 just to so it doesn't confuse customers coming from a non-CMTS based network. ...or hopefully xfinitywifi in the future. :-)

love the tool, anyway impossible to account for every case. 2601::/28 and 2001:558::/29 are Comcast addresses, but doesn't mean it's not tunneled, nor does it mean you are on cable/coax network.... i'm on Fiber network at work, and get "please shutdown your tunnel" lol, cause i have my own IPs.

Thanks guys you found a bug in my code...

If your CMTS is not configured yet for IPv6 it will show up as not on the network..

My bad, looking at my code to correct it..

If you would like to "bypass" your tunnel address just use the v4 IP of the comcast6.net page:

Looks like our CMTS is ready. Still no IPv6 on our business class SMCD3G gateway though, even though it got the firmware upgrade awhile ago. .
