need help in connecting home theatre speakers...

i just bought these speakers but did not come with a manual.

my question is how would i go about connecting these to the receiver?

my assumption is to connect them like in the diagram but i want to make sure so that i don't burn anything.

If your receiver supports bi-amping, connect them as described in the manual. If it does not, normally a speaker of that type will have a bus bar connecting the two terminals to the other. You can kind of see it in this picture, the gold/brass looking bar...
