[Help] friend is looking for a fast focus compact

A friend asked me to look for a compact camera that would focus pretty fast.. she rides motorcycles.. 500$ is her budget.. any suggestions?

GoPro. Does fabulous video and stills. May be something she may want to look into rather than a conventional P&S.

Oh yes GoPro is a good suggestions.. and the prices have come down some to.. but stills is basically what she's interested in

That looks like a fine camera. I like Fuji cameras.

I think your friend will be very happy with this camera.

I have a Panasonic ZS-20 their at Costco for about @230 Us.
Ch out the specks...touch screen, gps, low light and compact. Maybe one of the 10 best in this range.
Not only fast focus cycles, it has burst modes where it might take 5 shots any put them together to improve one shot. It also uses this same multi exposure method, when taking low light night shots without a flash....If you want to take ART! get this cam...if you just want to have security recording of your bike ride.....many of the P$S cams at target and best buy take fantastic shots for the cost...Buy one ant try it...if it sucks take it back

I know its slightly over your budget but the new one was announced about a month ago which means the "old" one is going to go down in price to probably sub 500
