I just ordered a lighting controller for my new Xfinity Home Control system and the lighting controller (ZigBee plug-in lighting controller) is dimmable and I converted the lamps in the living room to 1-way by replacing the sockets to simple on/off sockets instead of the three way that they originally came with.
I have Phillips LED bulbs in both of them.
I am wondering if I can use the dimming feature on it or if I should program it as non dimmable. The bulbs say dimmable on them. -- I've experienced ImOn (when they were McLeod USA), Mediacom, Comcast, and Time Warner and I currently have DirecTV. They are much better than broadcast TV.
It will probably work but there are compatibility issues between certain bulbs and certain dimmers. Just go ahead and program them to be dimmable and if it doesn't work it's not that difficult to change the settings.
I do not know if this will be helpful to you or not. It's a list of compatible dimmers for various Phillips bulbs. Your particular dimmer control is not listed, so you may just have to experiment like the others said. »www.usa.philips.com/consumerfile···heet.pdf
