I got one for a $1 at a thrift store lol they didn't know what it was lol but I'm currently using it with my SB6580 power supply will that be fine? Or should I get something better? |

sbg6580 requires 12v 1.5amp cisco dpc3010 requires 12v 1amp
You can you use the sbg6580 power supply. I would not be surprised if the dpc3010 you found is a leased modem and belongs to the local cable co. You may find out when you contact them to register it. |

 hyelton join:2008-02-29 Rutherfordton, NC | I already got it active. the modem is from Charter (I think) it has Charter`s firmware installed on it, and still does!) We dont have charter here about an hour away we have charter. Anyway its been working great! since day 1 |
