Rutherfordton, NC | Is this a Charter Modem? I just got this for a dollar at a thrift store and it works Great! for the price anyway Its a Cisco DPC3010 DOCSIS 3.0 Cable Modem and the firmware on it seems to be dpc3010-v302r12901-110714a-CHR.bin does the CHR at the end mean it was a Charter Modem? I have Northland cable they had no problem putting it on my account but Charter is not in my area only a Northland cable which is a small cable company. |

| It does appear to be a modem with Charter's firmware. Quick-google search brings up a mixture of Charter and COX; with it heavily focused on Charter.
I would imagine eventually your ISP would push their own desired firmware; then again you said it is a small cable company so who knows. |
