What you mean is, bandwidth in the
last mile is usually not symmetric-- consumer grade Cable, DSL, etc.
Servers hosting content are almost always on symmetric connections, not counting an SMB running their own server in-house on a cheap broadband pipe. And anything at the carrier core/transit/longhaul tier is symmertic.
