myVerizon to drop "Good Customer" credit on Package Change

Went through the motions today online to try and change my package. At the very end, You now get a pop up stating that any "Good Customer" credit you have will be removed from your account.

None the less, didn't follow through.

Crazy.

Were you signing up for a contract?

I was told a month ago by a CSR that if you stay month-to-month, all credits (including good customer credit) would remain, but you can't get the 2-year contract incentives (obviously). However, if you do accept the contract+incentives, all existing credits are wiped.

Right now I am on month to month, and I have the good customer credit.

Did any of you that currently have a good customer credit, ever receive a pre-paid gift card from VZ? Because I tried to get a "good customer" discount on my month-to-month service, and they told me I couldn't get that, because I had recieved a $100 Visa card when I signed up.
