ASUS RT-N66U with EnGenius EOC1650

Hello all, its Markes12344 i have a simple to ask yet puzzling question.

My set up is simply
-Modem
--Asus RT-N66U router
---EnGenius EOC1650 (LAN)
---My Computer (LAN)
---Other (Wireless)

Problem is hooking up the EnGenius as a access point antenna, witch it is designed to be able to do, to the Asus Router. It seems i may of gotten lucky with my old D-Link, EnGenius, set up before the D-Link was replaced with the ASUS.

ASUS is near Default
IP:192.168.1.1

EnGenius is set up as followed
IP: 192.168.1.130
Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
Default Gateway: 192.168.1.1
Channel: Auto, b/g Mixed

Now as far as i remembered all i had to do when it was hooked to the D-link was specify a IP and default Gateway to satisfy the D-Link, and it worked. Now that i got this fancy ASUS router its like it is a whole new ball park.

Would anyone be able to shed some light in this darkened matter?
