I have an MRDVR 7232-2 with an external 500 GB WD A/V expander.
The channels freeze during an injected commercial during the recording of a program. I can bring the channel back by changing to an adjacent channel and back, but the recording stops. I get recordings of 5 seconds to 13 minutes.
This has started since version 1.9.4 was installed (VHO9A). I have tried the option to fix the STB but nothing has worked. It seems to be only during recording a program.
Does anyone have any idea as to what to try next? Any help is appreciated.
I went to the Verizon Direct . After several questions/answers, I received this:
I don't think it has anything to do with the hard drive. After I did some further research, it seems the issue has to do with the most recent update to the boxes. I sent a command to your DVR to hopefully rectify the issue. Please let our team know if there are any changes.
