Netflix with digital adapter?

If I had a TV with the Netflix app built in, could I watch Netflix with only a digital adapter? I know it would only be SD, but it's for a spare bedroom.

Thanks.

Doesn't the TV pull Nexflix thru wireless or wired internet, not thru Fios boxes?
If that is the case, your neflix app should work as long as the TV is internet connected, & what box ( if any) that's connected to the TV for regular cable should be irrelevant....

No way, the DTA does nothing but receive SD channels. You're best off buying a used Roku or similar device, or a used Nintendo Wii.

What Meatchicken said. As long as you have Internet, you can watch Netflix. Even if you only have Internet and not TV service, it will work.

Hopefully the Digital Adapters will become history for some of us when the Media Server package becomes available. This will give the OP an HD option.

The only problem is that many of us have grandfathered free adapters. The small form HD box won't be free.
