[Troubleshooting] Changing Wimax MAC address on Clear Hub Expres

Changing Wimax MAC address on Clear Hub Express? Is it possible?

Here's the situation. I use a Clearspot Voyager for my internet connection to Clear but when I get home there is just no place to put it near the window to get a strong signal (though the signal in the past could go as high as -24 in one particular spot but has severely degraded especially with storms and never recovered to -24).

I thought of getting a Clear Hub Express and turning that on when I get home, i.e. never use both at the same time on Clear, and just changing the Hub MAC address to the Clearspot MAC address so I don't have to pay for 2 accounts since I don't need 2. What do you guys think is it possible? I know they use Linux for their firmware and I know my way around linux.

Re: [Troubleshooting] Changing Wimax MAC address on Clear Hub Ex

Never mind. A better solution seems to be to get the Intel 6250 mini pci express card that has Wimax + 802.11abgn and sue a mini pci express adapter card in the desktop to connect to the Clear tower. The card has connections for 2 external antennas.
