Congrats Dish! I don't miss you at all! My DirecTV and FIOS TV services are so much better than what I had with you!

And I still have not had any issues with Dish - since 2003 or so...

Same, do I really give a flying rats ass if they are the worst company to work for, nope! As long as my TV turns on to what I want it to, I couldn't care less.

Besides thinking Dish Network is an awful, awful, company and Chuckie Ergan is the result of an orgy between Satan, Bin Laden and Hitler, stuff like this does weigh in my purchasing decisions.

For nearly 12 years I worked for a company that treated their employees like dogshit and had no regard for the individual worker, I didn’t feel comfortable leaving because that was what I knew and while it sucked, I dealt with it. No one was happy, and yes it was all of our own fault for staying, but hey it was a paycheck, and financially it was better to shut up and deal with it rather than starting over at a new company, especially for those of us who’ve been there forever who watched the company get worse and worse with every passing year. After screwing me over big time in the past February I finally had enough and quit.

I pay attention every year to Fortunes Top 100 companies to work for and do my best to support those companies. Having known what it’s like to walk into work and to made to feel subhuman day after day, it’s nice to see that many companies do care about their employees and I will support them for that.

Sounds like they also aren't real high up in the customer satisfaction scale especially considering their taking CBS channels off! They were the ones that made the decision to pull the channels instead of keeping them on the air while continuing negotiations!

Time Warner is awful too. Well, to their customers at least...

Nope, Time Warner is hands down the best company I%u2019ve ever dealt with from a customer service perspective. I cannot believe the level of service I%u2019ve had when I needed them. Time Warner also knows how to treat employees, they are rated one of the Top Employers in Western NY. But this thread has nothing to do with Time Warner, so quit taking it off topic. It%u2019s about Dish Network and what a POS company they are, not how great TW is.

Sorry pal doesn't work that way.
Contract expires without resolution for renewal they legally MUST shut it off so it was as much CBS's fault. Also it was only CBS O&O stations not CBS in total.
