Expansion of The Canadian Forum Family.

I know some of you may be interested but as part of the ongoing changes justin See Profile has been making has entailed an expansion to our Canadian Forum Family.

As of today you can now visit our two new cousin forums:

»Start Communications

and

»ELECTRONICBOX

I'll leave this as a Sticky for awhile.
Enjoy.

Great news! Are they also going to be added to the "We also have these ISP specific Forums" list at the top of the canadian broadband forum?

Congrats to the Start and Ebox crews. These are some of the perks that come with all the hard work. Nice to see some site changes as well, keep up the good work Justin.

This is fantastic news, both Start and eBox have been fantastic additions to the Canadian internet market.

The font is a bit weird on their forum names though. It looks like the font size is smaller, but it's bolded?

Ditto on what Guspaz said. Well deserved promotion for both ISP.

Ebox literally changed the game in Quebec.

Wunderbar ! - and Congrats to both !

And y'know, I THOUGHT something might be up when the other day I noticed topics from each of those 2 forums show up in the 'Hot Topics' list, even though they only had each forum's 4-digit code number next to them, and had almost no posts in the threads, IOW, not really HOT.

Someone must have been running a test at the time.

Maybe Westlink Cable needs a dedicated forum too; they do seem to have a ravid community who follows them.

What causes that (and it is intentional) is the length of the word in the name. You'll see it in a number of places if you look here: »/forums/all?open=1
Check OptimumOnline direct, for instance.

Don't know how I missed this, great to see!

As to the others..
3web/Acanac/CIA/Distributel certainly have some user interest too, but I guess they aren't pushing for inclusion. CIK doesn't really seem to have much user interest, and they are not pushing for inclusion. I can't see either of them.

Vmedia though, has the user interest, and the company participation. Something to watch for I think.

User activity in their existing forums will be the determinant ... not people complaining that they don't have their own forums.

There is a Ciktel forum here. I'm not sure what amount of traffic is required to make the Canadian Forum family listing but I'm pretty sure it's somewhere north of three posts.

it has almost no traffic in it last time i checked, mostly people complaining and no Ciktel staff responding.

First, the CIK staff would have to KNOW about that forum.
