| Cable outlets No laughing - I am a tech challenged individual.
Every room in our house has a cable hookup outlet. Can I hook up to any of these outlets and have them work? IE I would like to hook up an extra modem so that my work computer is not dependent on the wireless modem in the living room. We bundle our cable, internet & phone with a small regional provider.

join:2002-03-06 | Depends if the installer activated all the lines, most likely not. If you have a small TV you can test the outlet.
I do not know any providers that will provide a second modem, without charging a whole additional modem + service ($50+) |
