[iO] Weather Channel local forecasts

So why is The Weather Channel giving me the local forecast for Manasquan when I'm way up here in northern Somerset County? I'm on the Warren hub; Cablevision should know that's nowhere near Manasquan!! (Although sometimes Cablevision treats NJ as a third-world country.)

Come on, guys, get out a map and give us the proper forecast.

Re: [iO] Weather Channel local forecasts (TV)

I was just about to post the same thing. Why is TWC local on the 8's giving Manasquan for the last two days instead of Piscataway? I'm guessing there's something wrong with the local headend that feeds TWC their local forecast information so they are going to a backup. I'm part of the Raritan system.

What would IP have to do with anything when the OP used the iO tag, indicating television?

What would my OOL IP address have to do with what signal the head-end is sending out on channel 62 to all customers?

Hey, I'm allowed to screw up. Sometimes. It's somewhere in my contract.

Re: [iO] Weather Channel local forecasts

I noticed this morning that the local on the 8's now show Piscataway as the local town, so they must've fixed it.

Yeah, I'm getting Piscataway too now, even though I'm in an entirely different county!
