Eartlink E-Mail Never Recieves iPhone Attachments

I rarely get any attachments (other than photos) that people send to my e-mail address from an iPhone. I have no issues when folks send me stuff from other phones, only iPhones. Does anyone have any idea why this might happen? On the surface it would seem to be an iPhone issue but since these same senders can clearly send attachments to OTHER folks, I'm thinking it's a combination of the two.
