Anybody else having problems with FIOS Internet in Snohomish WA? Went down last night for me 8/5/13.

Sure it was FiOS? I see that a non-FiOS DSLAM went belly-up in Snohomish, and that the techs had to remove and replace the entire chassis, so it took a while.
My (non-FIOS) DSL line in Snohomish has been running at less than dial-up speeds (9Kbps download, yes, that is a 'K', not a 'G') since late July, with not change yet. Calls to Frontier yield vague descriptions of congestion, equipment failure and upgrades, with no details on when things might improve. They gave me a refund on my August DSL bill, but that doesn't help me get online. Any news would be appreciated.

FIOS does not use a DSLAM. It is a FTTP (Fiber to the Premises) service. No copper is involved.
Unless you're in an MDU, where the DSLAM is in the basement of the apartment and VDSL is run to the units.
