Re: T-Mobile Sees Significant New Subscriber Surge

I switched to T-Mobile for a better deal on the Galaxy S4, taking advantage of the no contract contract. I also liked the idea of my bill dropping once the phone is paid off, unlike other carriers who continue to charge until you upgrade the phone.

The phone is great, the service is horrid. Their coverage map shows my work location as "very strong". Yet I have to leave my building to get any signal at all. To make matters worse, I only get spotty coverage on sunny days. Thick cloud cover == no signal at all.

At home, the 4 LTE signal comes and goes. The map shows coverage as "good". I disagree.

Would it be possible to "jailbreak" the phone and take it over to Verizon?

What market are you in? What results do you get when you force your gs4 into wcdma 1900 only?

I'm in New York, about an hour north of NYC. Honestly I have no idea how to force wcdma 1900 only.
