Super HD Isn't All That
I have CableVisions Optimum service. CableVision was the first cable company to sign up with Netflix, so I've had access to it for a while now. I'm also a cable technician for 8 years, so I see HD day-in and day-out. I also have a 50MB download speed, of which I get 56, and there's a great connection to Netflix from a gigabit router wired right to my tv, which has Netflix built-in to it. If Netflix didn't put a "Super HD" badge next to all the programs that get it, I wouldn't even know the difference. Imo, it looks pretty much the same as before the Super HD. VUDU looks much, MUCH better than the Netflix stream, so I know it is possible for a digital stream to look much better. I've also tried Netflix through the Xbox and the PS3. They all look like HD, but not SUPER HD.
So if you're in an area that doesn't have access to Propaganda HD, don't sweat it. You're not missing anything but a badge that says "Super HD."
