Will Wowway in Cleveland carry FXX the spin off station of FX? Does anybody know? Thanks in advance.

I would think they will since they just added Fox Soccer and Fox Soccer is going to become FXX.

While we have Fox Soccer though, it's only in SD. So there still is the question of whether they'll add it (meaning FXX) to the HD lineup.

No, SPEED will be rebranded to become FoxSports1 on Aug 17th. Fuel will become FoxSports2 on Aug 17th. Fox Soccer will become FXX on Sept 2nd. Soccer will move to FS1 & maybe FS2. FXX will be a sister channel to FX.

Understood, goober22, but it hasn't been confirmed by WOW yet whether those channels in their lineup will be making those switches. Usually they post changes & updates for the month and currently "There are no scheduled updates at this time." - »www.wowway.com/help-supp ··· -updates
It would make sense that since WOW re-added Fox Soccer recently that they did it to set up for the change to FXX. And Speed is already offered in all their locations so it would stand to reason that we'll be getting Fox Sports 1. (Fuel isn't so no Fox Sports 2?)

Can we get some insight from WOW_Dan on this?

Ditto. Fox Soccer does not have a HD offering from WOW though Speed does.

FUEL is available in Rapid City, it's part of the sports package, so not everyone here gets that channel.

So, I am assuming that once FUEL changes to Fox Sports 2, it will be made available on the basic cable package, since Speed (soon to be Fox Sports 1) is already in the basic tier.

Hmm, you're a former Knology customer, right? I didn't think to check those locations, just the Chicago/Cleveland/Columbus/Detroit/Evansville areas which all appear to not have Fuel TV available in the sports package.

You can find your channel numbers for both here - »msn.foxsports.com/other/ ··· -your-tv, though you're right they should just be taking the place of Speed and Fuse. Not sure if both will be on the basic tier for you though.

Hopefully WOW will be providing availability to Fox Sports 2 in other locations soon.

Nothing for Rapid City on that front, and that's only because Rapid City has never had the Fox Soccer Channel, even before Knology got bought out by WOW.

And back to FXX, this is now posted on the WOW website for the Chicago/Cleveland/Columbus/Detroit/Evansville areas - "September
Effective September 2, 2013, Fox will rebrand Fox Soccer Channel to FXX."

»www.wowway.com/help-supp ··· -updates

I'd expect the same change for former Knology customers.

Doesn't look to be an HD version, shrug.

On Directv it shows as an HD channel but all the shows they are showing so far were not filmed in HD (pre-HD stuff). So we are seeing them pillar boxed.

You may not be missing much if it's all SD content.

FX moved some of their original programming to FXX (I think It's Always Sunny and The League, probably some others) so once new episodes of those start airing people will be missing out on the HD.
