Why do I need to keep Bell now? (Follow on to Liar, Liar...)

I'm getting these speeds on Cogeco:

I signed up for Bell Fibe 15 thinking I could get 10M up (as promised in the advertising material without reading the fine print.)

On Bell, I actually get less than 800 K upload because of distance from the 'node'. (Actually I found out the CO.)

Is there any reason to stay with Bell?

Of course:

- excellent customer service
- easy billing
- a company willing to innovate, instead of complaining to the Government when potential competition may come
- they keep their promises

The negative now, we really miss those two beavers.

Maybe you don't have this issue, but I was once a Cogeco subscriber and every once in a while (and more frequently than I'd prefer) many of my channels would have issues i.e. not being displayed and telling me to call technical support.

It got to the point that I switched to Bell and never looked back.

Aside from no technical issues, I found the feel of the screen + the whole home PVR setup with Fibe to be much better.

That said, if you have speed issues then you're probably better off sticking with Cogeco.
