Yikes. That's not a systemic issue, you've got something else going on. You should probably try it without the router just to be sure, and post your signal stats.

Uh oh, I figured it was just from all this other stuff going on. Im not the greatest with the tech side of things. I assumed once everything was fixed, it would kinda go back to normal. This speed been around the same for a week.... Any suggestions?

Going to need the actual stats from the signals tab...things like channels, signal strength, that sort of thing.

Your signals are awful ... If your modem has more than 1 2-way modem in its path to the cable from outside, then change things so it is. If it's on a 3 way, put it on the one that says 3dB ... not 7 dB

If you don't have more than one contact TekSavvy by posting in the direct forum. You need Rogers to do a levels check.

That's why you only have 1 downstream and 1 upstream path ... and that's no good for speeds above about 15/1

Not exactly sure what a 2-way or 3-way modem is. You mentioned its path to the cable from outside. I live in a condo, so not sure if thats what you mean by more than 1 2-way modem.

Its not being split within my apartment, but outside of my apartment I have no idea. This was just randomly too. I have been happy for almost two years with TSI just this past week its been really slow..

And after logging into my router and installing new firmware, that might have solved the issue... Im pretty dumb for not trying that first

This is my speed test now (on 28/1) I assume its peak hours so thats why its a little lower

I checked the signals page again and its the same as before/

Still good here on Wolfdale.. Any problems people are having now can't be related to the congestion issue upgraded poi's were having.

I've given up using the Kitchener servers as they give very different results, even when running tests back to back and at off-peak times.
This morning I get:

Toronto Start server: 40.41 Mb/s
Toronto Teksavvy server: 40.36 Mb/s
Kitchener Megawire: 26.4 Mb/s

You should be always be using Toronto server as that's where TSI equipment get connected to their internet peers. You are testing the connection between your modem to Rogers and finally reaching TSI where most of the congestion problems are.

The logged errors are largely irrelevent. They are too time scattered to be significant. Your signal levels are fine.

How are you testing your speeds and pings/

Used speed test with multiple sites.

Pinged manual..through router and of course pin results on speed test.

Been some time since i seen the speeds this unstable.

Although after lunch it seems to have stabilized somewhat.

Interesting now the US light is blinking on my DCM 475..what is going on out there i wonder.
