check your ticket service!!
On Aug 1st, I had called technical support about drop connection and the earliest they could send out a tech was in 2 weeks, on Aug 17th. Today, I called customer support to make sure they still had plan to come and check the issue, but the guy on the phone told me it was cancel. He told me they (whoever "they" are) had cancel because they "thought" the issue was fixed when windstream had that big outage last week, if everyone remembers. The ticket was cancel last week without my knowledge. A new ticket is issued for the 27th. I might have to call everyday next week to make sure that they wont cancel the ticket again. This is just a heads-up to everyone who may have called for a service to check up on windstream to make sure they haven't cancel your ticket and than having to wait maybe another 2 weeks for the tech to show up. This must be part of their "Terms and Conditions".

My neighbor was told two weeks on his line also.
Good thing his other line was still working.
They also would not give him a wireless modem like they gave me. My old one was just fine BTW.
I guess it was to pacify me as I have reported them to everyone but the stupid police.

Aaron, this morning I got a call that a tech was available to come to my house today, so he came by and said that one of the phone line was burn out so he replaced it. As of right now I am still getting slow connection, but I will let you know if I get drop connection again, which will probably sometimes in the next day or two. Oh and here is my connection speed as of right now. I will pm you my phone number for future reference.
