Motorola SB6141 Modem error rate

It looks to me like something is wrong on the cable system, does the number of errors on downstream channel 4 seem excessive, it seems to affect my download speed as well.

That is definitely a high number of errors and when I look at the modem in our system I can see the signal issues on that single downstream as well. I tried sending a signal over to the modem to try and get that fixed, but it seems to have persisted. I would recommend getting a technician out there.

The tech came out, he can see the same problem we had before when it was referred to maintenance, Charlie (the tech) said whatever is in the silver think hanging from the line must be having a problem (especially since they tweaked the line a few weeks ago and the problem came back) I would like to figure out where to go from here if they tweak it again and the problem comes back again. Hopefully they can replace some hardware there and get the problem taken care of. The tech said there also wasn't many customers with the Ultra Plus and wished they would just go back to Ultra.

The tech said he could see the problem with channel 15 and with upstream S/N.

Chad, let me know what you can find about this.

This was part of the problem I had before when I left.

There is currently Maintenance scheduled to look into this tomorrow. I will followup with you once I see it has been completed.
