1 recommendation | KEH Good? Bad? I'm going to buy another DSLR in the next day or so and I found one I liked on their site. Can anyone tell me if they are decent company to work with? Is their rating system for used gear pretty accurate?
Another thing I like is that they are close enough (about 100-120 miles) that just about any form of shipping I use 9 times out of 10 it's going to be overnight shipping. I also can't find any evidence that they have a location in TN so there may be no sales tax as well. -- I do not, have not, and will not work for AT&T/Comcast/Verizon/Charter or similar sized company. |

I used them years ago to rebuild an old 35mm camera, did a good job and did it in a timely fashion. Have not heard anything bad about them from others lately. |

Good company. I find their prices to be a lot higher than CL/Kijiji, but at least you get some warranty from KEH |

I placed an order yesterday afternoon for a Factory Refurbished D7100 and a used 18-105 lens. I had some trouble placing the online order but that was likely because I was spending $1200 on a check card that had been activated a few hours before. I went to lunch and used that card and came back and called KEH up and placed the order over the phone.
The guy on the phone told me to just pick ground shipping since I am in Chattanooga and they were in Atlanta. I expected to see the camera this afternoon but I got it at 9AM this morning. When the box cam I figured it was networking equipment because it was in a huge box. When I opened it I was surprised to see it was my camera and lens. They did an excellent job of packaging everything so it would not get damaged on it's journey to me.
The camera and lens look absolutely perfect. I can't visually tell anywhere that the Camera is a Refurbished camera or that the lens is used.
I will be buying more gear from them in the future. I guess my only gripe is that they don't sell new gear so I had to order my battery grip and wifi adapter from someone else.
Two thumbs up for sure! -- I do not, have not, and will not work for AT&T/Comcast/Verizon/Charter or similar sized company. |

I purchase all my photography gear from them. They have never let me down and are cheaper than B&H, Adorama -- Capturing the images of Colorado »jdebordphoto.com |

I've dealt with KEH since before digital. I bought and sold several film cameras and lens though them and never had a bad experience. Their system is very conservative and the equipment has always been better than I expected. |

 | The only problem I've had is that I can't get online ordering to work with my CC. I have to call in my order but they have me in their system so all I have to do is verify my CC number and tell them what I want.
Service is very good and that will make me a loyal customer even if someone else has something a few bucks cheaper. -- I do not, have not, and will not work for AT&T/Comcast/Verizon/Charter or similar sized company. |
