www.phonenews.com/net10- ··· d-23238/1. Is Net10 on AT&T 3G or 4G? I seem to remember reading somewhere that AT&T MVNOs only get 3G, but I am hoping I am wrong.
2. What sort of speeds should I expect with Net10 on AT&T when I have full signal strength with a modern phone?
3. Are there other companies that use AT&T that might be better for me? I would only need text and data - I can't speak so unlimited voice is useless to me.
4. Is porting a number in (or out) simple enough? Anyone have any problems with that?

Sorry for all the noob questions, I've never had a data plan before due to expense. However, $45 per month without a cap interests me.
I'm thinking about getting a new phone - a Note 2 or maybe a Note 3 when its available unlocked. I only have an old 3G Symbian phone without a data plan right now. AT&T is the only wireless provider that I get a strong signal with in my little town (AT&T's maps also show 4G here). It would be nice having access to my email, XMPP, and forums when my ISP craps out - happens a lot with Mediacom.
