My understanding is the subscriptions are more important then viewers.

If only 225K are watching Magic city, but you have a million subscribers, who cares?

It seems my logic is probably wrong, considering that the show got cancelled.

I think starz, HBO, cinemax still watch the numbers of eyes on the show, vs the number of subscribers.

Consider the cost of producing the show, vs number of viewers, vs number of subscribers.
So you may have 1 million paid subscriptions, but less then 1/4 of them are watching the show. Hence it's not worth the money to keep producing the show.
Now if the number was 300-400k, then it might be worth keeping the show around, but then that is a "might be".
500k and and up [If only 1 million subscribers], then of course you'll keep the show.

The only reason why i got Starz was for Spartacus. Once that was gone [the original actor died], I gave up on Starz.
I don't miss Starz in the least bit.

With spartacus done i don't see any reason to keep my subscription to Starz.

Instead of magic city they need to produce a show that gets people to stay.

You stopped watching after andy died? You missed out on the best part.

I tried watching he new actor, but it could draw me in.

big mistake. he changes the character completely.
The finale is the best thing ever put on tv. perfectly written for every single character
