[help] New Arris TM822G no connection
Just got hooked up for optimum online service at my new Apt this morning. Tech left me with an Arris TM822G modem which at the time was working. Since then I have been unable to get online. The modem has been looping through upstream and downstream ranging and docsis registration.
Examining the event logs in the router shows sync timeouts, mdd timeouts, and badParam in config files. I am thinking this may be a signal strength issue, just looking for some insight. I will have a tech out here on Wed, but if it's something I can remedy I would rather just fix it.
I can post screen caps off the event logs if it helps anyone out.
Call CV and have a tech come back to your home today.
I was on the phone with them for about an hour and got no help whatsoever, outside of them scheduling me a tech appt for Wed. Just leaves me with no reliable access to the internet until then
