 | Assuming I understand what you mean by "client", then yes. The Clear Hub Express has two Ethernet jacks in addition to WiFi. In fact, I am writing this message from a desktop computer attached to a Hub Express in just that manner.
The down side is that the Hub Express is only for a stationary installation where a power outlet is available, as it has no battery, but as far as I'm concerned that's just one less thing that can wear out. Also, I suspect that its size allows for a more effective internal antenna than some of the portable gear can have, although it does have a port for attaching an external WiMax antenna, should the need arise. |

I need to put the unit 50+ft up a tree; and want CAT5 down to the users. |

the white modem with WI-FI also has one ethernet jack. In fact all the home modems have an ethernet jack as many of the earlier ones did not do WI-FI. |

That was a waste of time. I went down to the location [zip 20607] and went around with the existing Spot. The signal strength was equal to Blutto's GPA.
Oh well. Is there another carrier I can try? Verizontal offers only EVDO/RTT & soaks my friends on the overages. |
