I disagree. The largest percentage of Native Americans, full blood or not, are descendants of the Algonkin Nation, a First American tribe. It was their ancestors who followed the track of the bison over the Beringa Bridge to settle in cold North America.
Latino ancestors descend from Spanish and Inca of South America. The Algonkin descendants were well established when the Spanish descendants brought the horse and buffalo into that part of North America that was to become the United States.
Today the largest herd of bison in the world is found in Poland.
