TR1 @verizon.net | wireless router--verizon issue I recently received a D Link DSL 2750B. When I tried to open a port for Utorrent, I found that I was unable to 'speak' directly to the router. There is an overlaying Verizon software that surrounds the router with a menu and options :?: setup that almost mirrors the way excel looks. I am interested in buying port forward, but I am concerned that certain software will be unable to function due to this Verizon software that seems to be governing the router ( I hope I am explaining this clearly). Has anyone had experience with Verizon and port forward and can give me some re-assurance that the software will function with this setup?
PS I'm not that much of teckkie, please try to explain simply Thanks |
