That explains why others and me had network problems with it. Are there any good Windows downloaders and can catch all type of streaming media files?

Softpedia has removed it & has a post about it, Orbit Downloader Contains DDOS Component, ESET Warns.

I use Internet Download Manager. Works reasonably well. Has problems capturing CBC streams. CBC is a Canadian news site.

I use Video DownloadHelper extension for Firefox

Seems to work well works on both Windows and Linux even has options to convert videos from Flash to MP4.
