[Business] Comcast Business Class Internet new plans ?

Hi I just checked on Comcast business class website that they have new plans. I currently have 27/7 plan and I see for the same price which they had earlier for 27/7 now they are giving 50/10

Does this mean we getting speed upgrades ? yes no, I like there 75/15 plan for $149 at-least cheaper than what they had earlier $199 for 50/10.

Someone else posted about this recently. I think it ended up being only for new contracts, and in the northeast region.

Edit: It's showing up for me as well, so maybe they rolled it out nationwide.

So if we are in contract which I am for next 10 months I think, I cannot upgrade to 50/10 ? I will call them tomorrow I hope I can do that. That be nice if I am able to from 27/7 to 50/10.

When I was signing up the contract they told me I could upgrade speed at anytime. Now that they don't have any of the old package neither these prices are shown on there website as on promotional rates. I think we should be able to do it, Because all we be doing is upgrading to 50 mbps package. Oh and by the way I am on promotional price For $89.99 for 27.7 so maybe 20 bucks more and I get 50 will definitely let you guys know.

Yep.. Same here. The "Limited time" portion has been removed. If this had been residential, all of us on the now defunct package would have been upgraded automatically. But since it is business, they screw us over any way they can.

Did they make you change your term and were you still within your original contract?

What are you seeing from an actual Comcast speed test? Has powerboost been eliminated or are you still seeing some burst speeds?

Did you just call customer service to get the change?

Just upgraded, no cost change, they didn't say anything about a contract change (then again my original term was 3 years starting 2008)

I'm still paying for the same 12/2 price of 59.95 + equip fee of 9.95 but my contract has expired already or I should say, I'm now into the yearly renewal?

If I call in and ask I'm a little worried they might impose a new contract and raise the price...

I think Comcast actually listened to my suggestion from a few months ago it seems.
»[Business] Proposal for $149 speed package between 27/7 and 50/1

Having 2 options between $100 and $199.95 per month is better than just one.
With the speed increase I might be upgrading back to the $110 package soon.
Hopefully I can drop the static IPV4 and get static IPV6 instead to save some money at some point this year.

Just called them and they bumped my speed from 50/10 to 100/20. It was 10.00 more than I had been paying but it is better than what it was before 180.00. If I hadn't bumped my speed my impression was that I would stay where I was and my price would have dropped. I am in Nothern CA. It was definitely not just for 1st time subscribers.

I am able to get the package in MI (Central Region). With the triple-play package, the Deluxe 50 internet cost is discounted to $89.95/mo.

Well, I was paying $79.95 (plus the cost of statics) for 27/7 due to some promotions applied to my account a while ago.

Still, $30 more for almost 2x the down speed and almost 50% more up speed is worth it. Just on hold now to finalize things.

And it looks like there is no PB on this so that should be a plus for you too..

I think that a speed boost for the starter tier to 25/5 would make their plans look a lot more balanced.

Starter - 25/5 @ $69.99
Deluxe 50 - 50/10 - $109.99
Deluxe 75 - 75/15 - $149.99
Deluxe 100 - 100/20 - $199.99

Just my suggestion to comcast

I would still stick with the 50/10 btw.

Indeed! Solid 50/10 no PB in either direction for me Not everyone's choice I know, but I'm glad to be done with the erratic "policed" speeds.

This probably explains why they weren't interested in debugging the issues with 27/7.

Kind of wonder why they bothered with the previous changes when this was coming?

Called in, two modem reboots and I'm upgraded. As others have said, PB is gone, but that's fine with me, I'll take solid 50/10 over 27/7 with a short blip faster.

Well I'll be damned, that's great! I'll give them a call on my lunch break. Now to decide what speed to get...
