Does anyone have any idea what it is exactly that Rogers has been doing for the past couple weeks to cause these widespread disruptions and blackouts across their footprint in parts of Ontario? Inquiring minds want to know.......... |

Really? I just got home and my cable modem is still down.
Even better, my modem is giving me a 503 error now on its web server so I can't see any of the stats. |

While we cannot say for sure, but most likely Rogers is doing upgrades. |

I live near QC Hospital. No TV or Internet from 7 PM until 11 PM. What a bummer! Just got everything back to normal while I was talking to a tech from Start Communications, who said there's nothing down on their end. Rogers must do a better job of informing their customers of planned upgrade/maintenance. |

These types of upgrades are done on a node by node basis. So even just a few blocks away might not be affected. |
