 | Is it normal to be charged higher than the posted rate? On Shaw's web-site, the REGULAR price for the HS20 plan is $55, but I am being charged $60.
Telus pulled a dirty trick on me previously - my bill had a higher cost than the posted normal rate. When I called to complain, their excuse was it took time to update their web-site. After 6 months and the rate on the site didn't change, I realized they fed me a lie. I ended up cancelling and going to Shaw.
This is like history repeating itself. Hopefully Teksavvy doesn't pull similar tricks. |

It used to be listed as one amount, and then a discount line somewhere else on the bill, making it match the website price -- Yes, I am not employed and looking for IT work. Have passport, will travel. |

 | My bill has only one line, HS20 $60. So it looks like Shaw is overcharging me (compared to the regular price on their web-site).
Not that it matters much, I have decided to leave Shaw because of their 9% price increase & now this deliberate overcharging.
The funny thing is that it has nothing to do with the money. $5 means nothing to me. It will probably cost me $200 to sign up with Teksavvy. It is the arrogance of it. |

It seems like every 6 months Shaw changes their bundles, so unless you're a new customer you're probably not paying whatever is advertised on their site. |

Doesn't shaw charge for modem rentals now (where previously they didn't). I wonder if the $5 extra is the modem rental fee?
It is annoying how shaw doesn't break down charges on bills (on mine they list bb50 and personal tv on the same line). |
