Heh, my POI is finally done... Though not sure I'll ever go back to Cable, not unless something is done at the CRTC level so TPIA's aren't screwed like they are being now.

If Wolfdale is completed, then why still no internet in Mississauga?

The migration to Aggregated POI has nothing to do with the RF or DHCP outages.

Oh. Okay. Sorry, don't understand and just frustrated. For some of us, internet access is not just a novelty but actually a tool.

It is for most people today. I'd be just as frustrated if it was happening to me. Fortunately I'm on the DSL side of things.

Do DSL doesn't suffer from these issues of DHCP, POI, and whatever? Teksavvy or start?

DSL has it's own problems, but only Bell causes them or old copper lines do. Some people find DSL better, others fine Cable better. For me, DSL only offers 5mb in my building... so Cable is the only option and has been really good with minor issues recently with RF/DHCP

Just a question, but do these Migrations cause slower speeds? Specifically for areas around Newmarket (Ie Richmond Hill)?

Finally, it is time for Newmarket! Long waiting for the email notice for the service upgrade

Wish teksavvy can also have internet TV like Vmedia.

No. They actually enable higher speeds. There have been serious problems with the implementation, but once everything is working right, speeds will be more consistent if anything.

I'd love to switch to VDSL2 but $20 extra per month is just too much of a premium especially for such a relatively slow speed tier.

Hi Marc, I applied for speed upgrade in August 19th. and still nothing. I'm on the Wolfdale POI.
Should't it be done by now?
Thanks

It's quite the coincidence that so many are having DHCP issues in Comstock the same day it goes to ATPIA.

Is the DHCP issue simply waiting for all the old addresses to expire?

It should be in normal circumstances however there have been some severe vendor delays.

If you post in the Direct Forum, we can check on the status (which will be done or not). If not done, we can always escalate. (keep in mind escalations are also delayed)
