[Network] Port Forwarding on Sagemcom F@ST 1704N
Port forwarding was working on a SpeedStream 4300. Windstream service techs replaced that with a Sagemcom 1704N. I used -> Advanced Setup -> Virtual Servers to define Box1 5001 5001 TCP/UPD 5001 5001 192.168.254.3 ppp0.0
The port is not open. I have been through the setup 3 additional times with the help desk phone support. I have tried it with and without Port Triggering. No joy.
Is it possible to new 1704N is defective? (The SpeedStream 4300 had become intermittent and very slow - so it was replaced.)
Please send us a PM with the phone number associated to your DSL. It's possible that your modem might either need a firmware upgrade or that the firmware might somehow have become corrupted. I would be happy to take a look for you. Worst case scenario we can disable the firewall completely if you would like.
