[TW] Leave Time Warner, but Keep Earthlink?

I have both Earthlink Internet service and Time Warner cable service in the LA area. If I dump my Time Warner cable services, should I expect any issues, price changes, or anything else with my Earthlink service?

Thanks,

-Danny.

So you have 2 internet connections at 1 home ? If you drop one and leave another that should not affect you unless you are bonding connections.

I never experienced any problems in the Mid-Ohio market when I had that set up.
Could be different in CA where TW might be giving a break on TV when you bundle. I would ask your local TW office what the rates are for cable TV alone.

My apologies - there seems to be a misunderstanding in how I described things: I have only ONE Internet connection - broadband from Earthlink. I also have Time Warner Cable TV service, and the Earthlink Internet service comes through the same wire.

So, the question remains: if I get rid of my Time Warner cable TV service, will I have any issues with my Earthlink Internet service?

Sorry for any confusion.

-Danny.

You should be ok. We used to have Time Warner Internet and recently switched to Earthlink which still uses Time Warner's backbone.
