[Indy] Getting ready to subscribe to BHN with a new TiVo Roamio

I'm looking to make the switch from Dish to BHN and plan on getting the combo plus for $107. What is the best way to order this so that the process is as smooth as possible?

I do not need any BH DVRs or converters. Just the cablecard and TA.

I will be porting my number from a landline to BHN phone.

I tried to order online but there is no option to choose a cablecard only. Has anyone else gone through this process and can share any tips?

This should be done through your local sales office (meaning you call). They will take care of everything. If you have problems post install on the cable card let me know.

Do you know if it is possible to avoid the $8 converter fee when you get the Combo Plus package? When I called the customer service rep, she said that I would have to pay the $107 + $8 (converter) + $2.95 (CableCard).

You are not required to have a converter....you may use just the cable card and get the same promo. If you have any problems reach out to me in direct and I will have someone call you back and get this right....
