ouch. i'm not quite there yet, but my connection is certainly getting there. i used to have one of the first cable connections in the neighborhood... and i was getting unbelievable speeds... downstream at least. 3.8m, 4.5m... it was all good... but now i have the absolute lowest in colorado. partly because i have an ignorant little kid with a crappy computer (FULL of spyware and all kinds of aweful stuff) that eats up 98 percent of my bandwidth... i was at 16/2 when his computer was on... but after i banned his box from my network, i still only get 1300/120 on a good day. actually i think that's the highest it's been in months.

Everyone on this forum at one time or another has experienced piss poor performance from their respective ISP no matter how much they claim it rocks. One only need check the forums for proof. This lawsuit is a step in the right direction for broadband consumers.
