4G Deployement/Testing

Regulation Authority is issuing test licenses now in our country for 4G connectivity.
GSM will be using 1800mhz and the rest (providers like us) will use
FDD:2500 -2570 MHz UL and 2620-2690 MHz DL, or TDD:2570-2620 MHz
once the bidding is done.
Country only has a population of 400,000 people.

If you would implement a LTE/Wimax service now, which brand would you consider and why ?

WiMax hasn't fared to well. Even Sprint has stopped WiMax deployments and going with LTE upgrades.

Ericsson, Huawei, perhaps Nokia.

Those seem to be the three manufacturers I've seen mentioned most frequently when it comes to mobile networks.

A fourth potential might be Alcatel-Lucent.
