Marky Mark as Iron Man?Watched Iron Man 3 the other night and I was wondering there was going to be an Iron Man 4. Seems RDJ is not interested in Iron Man Movies but will do 2 more Avenger Movies. Whalberg has been quoted as saying he'd love to play Iron Man, but hasn't been asked. » www.entertainmentwise.co ··· ny-StarkIron Man 3 was far superior to IM 2, but I didn't see it being as good as IM 1. |

I think Whalberg might be a tad short for the role. Also, not sure if he has the box office draw.
Now I could see them "twisting" things a little, like they did with the rebooted Nick Fury, and maybe tapping Jamie Fox or Wil Smith on the shoulder to play Iron man. But they may want a "JR" type to step in. So they can do more films.
Though, IMO, I'd be fine if Iron man 3 was the last stand alone Iron man film. |

Really, they "shoot around" things like height and make them work. Also, RDJ's "box office" draw wasn't anything to write home about UNTIL Iron Man. |

My understanding is RDJ is trying to use his "gota be in it" power to get raises for the others. |

I love Mark Whalberg, so that might be interesting. But I don't' think he has the Tony Stark vibe about him though. |

And Adam West as Batman (running around town with a ridiculously large bomb held over his head, so as not to hurt the ducks and stuff ). Then came Keaton, who nailed it. Then came some other guys that failed, but that could have just been the writing or the overall crappy tone of the films. Then came Bale, who nailed it. I don't see Wahlberg as Stark, but who knows? I didn't see Keaton as Batman either. |

Same say Adam West's Batman is still the best to date.
Though, IMO, I think between West, Keaton, and Bale, you have 3 different Batman. And all 3 were good, as it first the way the show/movie was set.
Unlike Clooney and Kilmer, whose version of Bats is better forgotten.
I also remember the laughs about Keaton playing Batman. Beetlejuice as the Bats, maybe the Joker. But after the movie opened, all doubts were erased. |

Iron man's character is more about intellect and quick-wittedness.
Wahlberg wouldn't fit that in my opinion. He's more of an old school action hero.
Nathon Fillion on the other hand would fit the role of Iron Man better. |

Nathan Fillion could play Mal Reynolds and be a great Iron man. |

But he is getting old as well. If they tapped him, and it worked, they might get 3 movies out of him.
Granted he has an "In" with the director. As they have worked together on a few projects in the past. |

How about Jensen Ackles from Supernatural as iron man?
I think that he could pull it off. |

I'd say the same thing if they tapped one of the main actors on Teen Wolf as well. |

Agreed, they are 3 different batmans, West's was all about the camp, while Keaton revived that with a more serious tone, and Bale brought a very dark batman to life. |

I think that he could pull it off. Too young, and hasn't got the talent a RDJ or Mark Walhberg have. |
