[TV] Cisco 8642hdc box stuttering on playbackIt's got progressively worse. I use to unplug the power/reboot and all was fine. Now that doesn't help. The stuttering is on sound and video. The regular tv is fine. Problem is recordings playback. I tried calling service,,but got placed on forever hold.
Is there anything I can do on my own? I don't want to wipe out my recordings if at all possible. Thanks. |

I believe this is the whole house system. In my installation it's on just one tv. When brighthouse installed it about a year/two ago it was the latest one and was a waiting list to get it. Worked great up t past 6 months and I had to reboot more often. Now it stutters on playback of all recordings. Newer recordings are the worst for stuttering. Even fast forwarding or reversing it jerks. |

Strike that.... only one TV? This sounds like a bad DVR...can you swap it or do you need a tech? |
