POP3 very slow this evening

There is a long delay before it checks inbox.

Thanks for reply - I was able to look at my emails in Cox Webmail, but no POP3. So if you have important emails, try your Webmail.

I have chatted with agent at Cox.....confirmed email is down. Working on getting it back up....

I think west coast pop3 servers are down. Suggest temporary work around of changing incoming POP3 server to pop.east.cox.net.

pop.cox.net is the preferred setting, and should point you to a working server if one is down but did not work in this case.

In any event, back up here in So Cal.

I always use East sense we are closer to it. Is there still central ?
